Place: Ridgefield Public Library’s Dayton Room
Time: 7:00 to 8:30 PM.
Refreshments will be served. 
The book will be available at Books on the Common,
 404 Main Street, Ridgefield. There is a 15% discount for the RPC Book Club.
 Reading the book is not a requirement to attend. Parents of all age children are invited.
 
Pre-register on at www.ridgefieldpreventioncouncil.org (see registration form page) to reserve your seat as space is limited. The program is free though there is a suggested donation of $10 at the door to support RPC programs. For questions call 203 438-9557.
 
Kids Who Lead Succeed Conference

All middle school students are invited to attend this conference presented by
RHS students and  RHS Youth to Youth

Guest speaker is Devin Thomas from Youth to Youth International

Place:  East Ridge Middle School
Time: 3:30-7:30  (Registration & snacks begin at 3:00)
Cost: $15 per student (fee includes all materials, snacks and dinner)

Recording artist, rapper and speaker, Devin Thomas, represents reaching your fullest potential . In his presentation, “I’m So C.O.O.L.”, he encourages teens to go beyond any typical stereotypes and live who you really are. He shows this through the acronym of C.O.O.L.: knowing your Character, being Observant, being Optimistic, and finally Living Life. He incorporates laughter, emotion, as well as his hip-hop music.
Pre-registration by March 9th is required.
